The School Garden
For the past few years our school garden has been under severe attack by bunny rabbits!!
Thanks to the dedication and hard work of Eugene McCartan and Michael Kelly we now have beautiful raised beds and tubs for our herbs. They worked on a miserable and drizzly Saturday to give us a garden which is now bunny proof. The wood for the beds was harvested from McCartan's woods. We are lucky to have such a great garden and will hopefully produce lots of veg, as we have done in the past.
June 2019 - Thanks to the Tús workers who prepared our raised beds for us this year.

There are spacious grounds around the school which include our school vegetable garden. Pupils grow a wide variety of vegetables here. The experience of planting, tending to and harvesting the vegetables cannot be underestimated. It is a priceless experience for the children, who are so chuffed with their end produce!
Check out some of the crops that have been harvested under the careful guidance of Ms. Forde!
