Catholic Schools Week is being celebrated from January 28th to February 3rd this year.  The focus of Catholic Schools Week 2018 is 'Families of Faith'.

The World Meeting of Families will be celebrated in Dublin this year from August 21st - 26th.
The World Meeting of Families Icon will visit our own Archdiocese from January 19th - 29th.
The venues are as follows:  Tuam, Athenry, Glenamaddy, Carraroe, Ballyhaunis, Westport and Castlebar.

After-School football will begin this Thursday 18/01/18 at 2:35 pm and will last for approximately one hour.
The after-school sessions will run up until the last term.
The students will have an opportunity to practice both GAA and Soccer during the course of the sessions and we look forward to preparing the students for both the FAI and Cumann na mBunscol competitions. 

A computer club will start in the school this Tuesday, 15/01/18 at 2:35 pm and will last for approximately one hour.
The computer club will run on Tuesdays until the end of year, initially the students will learn about Computer Science using Scratch.
Although the Computer club will take place after-school, students are encouraged and invited to further their learning by going through the activities at home.  It is also an opportunity for parents and students to engage in some fun exercises in their own time.
